She has loved photography and the power of images since being a child. She has studied professional photography whilst maintaining her individuality and has worked as such creating fantastic images that have been well received and collected.
As well as the fine art aspects of photographer where she works closely with her husband she also enjoys fulfilling clients dreams, realising beautiful images in conventional Wedding,portrait, glamour and nude shoots. As a midwife she also specialises in the capture of the miraculous moments of pregnancy birth and family Life.
Enjoys and is further more celebrated in Wedding Photography and creating the perfect compliment to that most special of days.

Concept Images began life 7 years ago.
The perfect marriage of husband and wife team Cathy Smith and Nigel Duncan.
Initially the photography was specifically focused on pregnancy and birthing images, drawing heavily from their experiences as midwives.
Today both pregnancy and birth photography still play an all important part of Concept Images portfolio but now a full repetoire of styles and types of photography are offered.
Wedding photography, wedding artistry and documentation, portraiture, model images and portfolio packages, glamour and erotic photography as well as commercial photographic services.

Cathy Smith Photographer
Cathy is originally from Victoria and at a very young age new that photography and her were inextricably linked.
It wasn't however until 2000 after completing her Professional Photography Qualifications that she took the leap into pursueing it as a career. On the road to becoming the world class photographer that she is she gained qualifications in Nursing and in Midwifery.
But it was in 2000 that she realised a long held goal and turned her passionate hobby and obsession into her profession. It soon became apparent that her natural talents and learnt skills as a photographer were to set her apart from the everyday photographers we have all had experience of. As well as meeting all her clients needs she also explored the art of photography, exhibiting her now collected Fine Art Photographic Images.
She expanded her photographic repetoire further by answering customers and clients demands to have her for all of their photographic needs be that pregnancy, wedding, get togethers, school photos, formals or more intimate personal work.
Cathy has been married to Nigel for six years and Togehter they have four children and lives in the Cooloolashire Hinterland in their family home
Nigel Duncan Designer
Nigel was born in England, he developed a passion and had a natural ability in painting and drawing. He originally pursued a career in Fine Art studying a degree in Painting at Brighton, life changes came quick and he diverted his attentions to that of Nursing and Midwifery securing qualifications in both. The art never truly left and althoughminimal he has continued to explore various artistic media and holding he occassional exhibition. He has explored and mastered digital graphic media creation including all forms af applied Graphic design and Digital animation. He assists in the digital creation of images and photographic enhancement and Manipulation.
Complimenting Cathy skill perfectly both in the working enviroment and has her husband.
Facilities and Equipment
The studio in Nambour is a purpose designed 100Sqm modern fully air conditioned studio with adequate exclusive and appointed parking spaces. The Studio is fully equipped and can accomodate the most adventurous of shoots. Privacy is gauranteed. Cathy has now moved exclusively to digital format and uses the most state of the art Cameras and equipment. Images are stored and backed up onto both hard copy DVDs and servers for archiving. Images can be proofed either in printed format, digital PDF's files or via a individually accessible web page. Screensavers, digital books, hard copy books and are all production options as well as traditional photographs. Framing is also an option. All prints are printed on site on a variety of medium options.
