Pregnancy Location Shoots (More Information)
Location shoots do not have the studio advantages of complete control of lighting and effects but do have the advantage of further enhancing the image of the glorious pregnant form with that of a condusive setting. Popular locations have proved to be remote rainforest settings, beach settings and domestic locations.
The importance of the location itself can be more than just the aestethic appeal. The location can have personal connections and significance.

Cathy has been awarded for her location shots and the ability at complementing both the environment with the divine form of creation. Location shoots have extra considerations with regard securing privacy and Cathy has extensively researched the local area for such glorious settings. The privacy enables the freedom of expression be it clothed or nude images.
Often images of natural beauty are chosen waterfalls, streams and panoramic landscapes are popular.

Cathy has had numerous requests to shoot interstate and recently internationally. This option is also welcomed but travel and accomodation costs will be incurred by the client.and paid for upfront

As with studio photography cathy recommends that you feel as comfortable as you can by dressing as you wish and not having too many pre-conceptions. Nude photography isn't for all and as such isn't necessary.
Cathy will work with you before hand and on the day to ensure you feel as relaxed and as comfortable as you can.
She also welcomes enquiries as to make up, colour consideration and props if required.
Some General Advice
The optimal gestation for pregnancy photographs varies depending on the womens own body image and shape as well as how she wants to look in the photographs.
As a very general rule a woman looks most comfotably pregnant in all its glorious beauty from approximately 34-38 weeks and it is at this time most of her shoots take place.
This is not always the case as women can vary so much and have very altenrative views on what image they wish to create.
Some women choose a pregnancy essay requiring serial photographic shoots, a select few choose a documentary essay involving several shoots.
Bring something to eat and Cathy will encourage you to drink and hydrate yourself throught the shoot.
Bring a change of clothing that is comfortable and light and if on a location bring some appropriate footwear to get to and from locations.
